I am now able to offer tuitions on a one to one basis in a safe, well-ventilated and (nearly) decorated studio.

One to one Taster sessions (3 hours)

During this 3 hour session, you can melt some glass and try your hand at pulling stringers and making a few beads.

This should tell you if bead making is for you or not (Although how could you not like making beads!)

The cost of the Taster Session is £60 and includes all materials and equipment. You will of course be able to take home all the beads you make during the day (after they have been annealed – so I will need to post them to you the following day).

One to one beginners classes (one day)

The day lasts from 9.30 to 4 pm and longer if you wish a little time to practice your newly acquired skills.

I will cover:

-The basics of safety while beadmaking.

-The equipment required and the possible options if you want to set up.

-The focus of this class will be on heat control, managing to shape roung beads with heat and gravity.

-A variety of  surface decorations and techinniques (Frit, stringer, dots, raking, twisting...)

Cost: £130 all material included. . You will of course be able to take home all the beads you make during the day (after they have been annealed – so I will need to post them to you the following day).
